Who we are

PostDeck ("PostDeck", "we", "us") operates a social media management tool used by our team and by clients who authorize us to manage their social media accounts. This policy explains what data we access when you connect an account, how we use it, and your choices.

What we access

When you connect a social media account — Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or Google Business Profile — to PostDeck, you grant us permission, through that platform's official OAuth process, to:

• Read basic account and profile information needed to confirm the connection and eligibility to publish.
• Publish content that you create and schedule to the accounts you have connected.

We access only what is necessary to schedule and publish your content and to confirm that posts succeeded. We do not access private messages or data unrelated to publishing.

What we store

We store the OAuth access and refresh tokens for your connected accounts (encrypted at rest), the content you schedule, and post status and results. We do not sell your data. We do not use your data to train machine-learning models.

How we use it

We use the information solely to provide the scheduling and publishing features you request. Platform data is displayed only within your own account in PostDeck.

Sharing with third parties

Content and tokens are transmitted to the respective platforms (Meta, TikTok, Google) only to publish your posts, in accordance with each platform's API terms. We use standard infrastructure providers (hosting, storage, content delivery) to operate the service. We do not otherwise share your data.

Data retention and deletion

You can disconnect any account at any time, which revokes our access and deletes that account's stored tokens. To request full deletion of your data, see our Data Deletion page or email privacy@postdeckhq.com. We honor all platform data-deletion requirements.

Platform compliance

PostDeck's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Our use of the TikTok API and the Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram) follows their respective developer terms and policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
